These terms govern use of the website and submission of enquiries. Any accepted maritime assignment is governed by the separate terms agreed for that work.
Website information
The website provides general information about ship classification, surveys, audits and technical services. Applicable requirements depend on the vessel, flag, requested scope and relevant authorisations. Website descriptions are not a guarantee that a particular assignment can be undertaken and are not a substitute for applicable rules, statutory requirements or a written scope agreed with Romnaval.
Survey requests and confirmation
You must provide accurate information and have authority to submit the enquiry and its attachments. An automated reference and confirmation acknowledge receipt only. They do not accept an order, confirm attendance or availability, agree fees, establish a service contract, or guarantee certification. Urgent requests remain subject to review and confirmation.
Romnaval will review the request and contact you concerning the proposed scope and arrangements. If you do not receive a reference or confirmation, contact us by email. The website does not currently provide online payment or a client login portal.
Quality certification
Romnaval’s quality management system is certified by SUN CERT to EN ISO 9001:2015 for maritime classification services. The certificate is subject to its stated scope, validity and surveillance conditions. Quality management certification does not itself constitute flag State authorisation or confirmation of compliance of an individual vessel.
Acceptable use
Do not use the website to submit unlawful, misleading or unsolicited content; impersonate another person; upload malicious files; interfere with website operation; or attempt unauthorised access. Upload only documents you may lawfully share. Request submissions are handled as enquiries and are not published as public website content.
Intellectual property
The website’s branding, text, images and other materials are owned by Romnaval or their respective rights holders. You may view and use the information for evaluating our services. Reproduction or commercial reuse beyond applicable legal permissions requires authorisation. Third-party certification marks remain the property of their owners.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep information accurate and the website available, but content may change and access may be interrupted. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or complete freedom from errors.
